2007 Japan: Summer Bonanza

It's the shortest trip ever. Falling short of time in planning, I didn't consider too much on anything but packed everything I saw in the early morning, and then rushed to the airport shortly. Holy shit, my "smoky" eyes reminded me of the most important thing I forgot - "I NEED SLEEP!!!". Okkk... time was short. Jumped onto the plane and everything became so peaceful ("hassle-free" a better word as the plane was really safe, touchwood babe!) that I couldn't help falling asleep.

21 Jun, pm: The first station was Ginza where I began losing money from my pocket. Just like kind of a treasure hunt, I spotted the Burber-li black label and many other attractive yet totally unacceptably expensive items. Okkk... time was short. Next comes the checkpoint at 彩虹橋, the attraction that originates from the Japanese dramas. Anyway I could recall only "Long Vacation" as I'm not a Japanised fan of any super star. Dinner at a nearby restaurant serving a buffet. Yuck! Please don't ask me about the foods as I just fed my stomach but not the palate. A cone of McDonald's ice cream was SOoo wonderful to the sweet tooth for the night.

22 Jun, rainy: Awoke as early as a crow - the kind of "non-singing" bird you can find everywhere. At 箱根, the morning exercise assigned to us was travelling on a modern pirate boat at one of the five lakes situated beneath the Fuji mountain. Thanks God for giving us the misty "pirate" ambience that I really hated because NO landscape photos. Okkk... time was short. Soon after lunchtime, we went to a must-see spot 大涌谷 known for the hot spring origin as well as the black eggs made from boiling spring water. Yesss... sulphur and whatever chemically changed the original state of the eggs. Jesus! And, the final nature caring attraction of the day was 平和庭園 which houses religious and historic monuments and sculptures - NOT relevant to me, the die-hard beliving-in-myself sod. At night, our accomodation in a five star hot spring hotel was KIMOCHI~! Not to mention its hot spring facility, the full Japanese dinner set was exceptionally delicious and colorful.

23 Jun, oh sunshine babe: The breathtaking, unmissable exciting roller coaster - FUJIYAMA - took me through the sky in the backdrop of the Fuji mountain. I also tried the Don Don Pa, the so-called World Bucchigiri Coaster. Okkk... time was short. Then, we came to another lake 河口湖, followed by a beautiful park 八木崎 well-known for the lavendar field. I'd feasted my eyes on the nature wonders, and yet from this point onwards, I was very hungry for shopping my favourites. Wow... in the late afternoon, we did a lot of shopping in 新宿, and dined at 歌舞伎町 where we hanged around to get a glimpse at the nightlife activities. Lastly, we stayed at Disney Hilton Hotel for 2 consecutive nights. Really cool~

24 Jun, rainy: The day for Mickey mouse and his friends, however, was NOT my cup of tea. I was just interested in taking pictures telling you guys that I'd visited the castle. See!? Alright, my friends and I were more into shopping, of course. We went back to 新宿 again to sweep into the many shopping arcades including 01 Men's 館, 伊勢丹, Beams, Comme Ca, Bic Cam, In the Room, and so on. Heheee... money was like "easy come, easy go". Bloody hell~! Okkk... time was short. Gotta take a rest and take all the items back to the hotel.

25 Jun, rainy: After visiting the Jap. emperor's palace (outside only) 二重橋, we said goodbye to the tour members, and soon started our independent, free shopping journey. We stationed at 池袋 where is also a "apm" place. There were so many shops for my type and a wide variety of eateries to choose from, namely P'Parco, Sunshine City, Sunshine 60, Seibu, and many night shops particularly the highlight - the 24 hour convenience store selling goods ranging from daily necessities, to snacks, to electronics, to luxury brand items and even sex toys. Okkk... time was short, still. It's hurried to take a closer look at the district.

26 Jun, cloudy: Endless delights appeared when we arrived at 原宿竹下通. We spent a lot at 裏原宿. Shops at 表參道 are far too luxurious. You could say it's pretty painful in terms of my shrinking wallet and our physical conditions. Okkk... time was short. We gotta window shop and went through as many shops as possible while bringing along with us the cumulative heavy shopping bags. Awful.

27 Jun, rainy: Okkk... time was short. Leaving for the airport in the morning. We did the last minute shopping at the airport, and enjoyed a mouthwatering sushi platter in a restaurant. Yummy.

Self-reflection: From the bottom of my heart, this 7-day trip was really awesome allowing me to experience good taste, excitement and the natural beauty of Japan. I really hope I can go there once again provided that I have sufficient time to shop around =)... P.S.: More "handsome" (Ooops... self interpretation only) photos are available upon request. hehe...

Meet' Old Buddiezzz...!

3 Jun was probably a long-awaited fun day full of happiness and gossips, which all happened in a big melody-filled party room.

No surpirsingly, gals are prettier than ever before. Yeah... here comes the "5 Pretty Gals" picture, which is really nice that I wouldn't help to share with you, my blog surfer. Micheal's pic will come later... hehe.

After it all, friendship lasts for ever, and that bridges us from one to another. No matter whether we encounter something sad, happy or nostalgic, we can come together to find ourselves being the luckiest in the world. The reason is simple; I know you, and you know me best!

Hmm...

Not feeling well tonight, both physically & mentally.

My heart is SOoo heavy as if there's something that blocks my repiratory tract, leaving me suffocated in a small room decked out with just staple dull colors. I know this is me who gets myself confused towards people & work. And yet, as this is wot I am, I usually try to get some reasons - no matter they are weird or not - to justify my acts, so that I can feel comfortable n rejuvenated.

Soon after tonight's activities, I got a totally different experience. Neither my brain nor my body is working well. No action, no thoughts, no feel... helplessly painful. And, that pain comes from nowhere but myself.

No one helps.

Life's all that!

Sleepless n relaxed, I'm now listening to the soft, peaceful unplugged songs of Norah Jones with the plannin'-wot-to-do mood for the rest of my rather long annual leave til 3 Apr. Okie man, I know it's self-indulgent of me, but I wanna try to lead a life of snail's pace, hoping to have a complete change to...

1) a lazzzzy pig thru' metamorphosis in just a few days' time. Yuck! I'm not one of those uncivilised smelly sods, but more like a sleep-til-my-back-hurts corpse.

2) a reading machine, which is really really old n slow. It should be an antique (rather than a vintage item, I would say) that you should throw it away immediately in a bid to justify your capability n existence... cuz in a sense, it's juz TOoo unncessary n unhelpful.

3) a drunken parasite having too much shopaholics. Simply put, I juz accomodate the needs of my increasingly crazzzy shopping evil deep inside my heart. Burning money [papers] is hassle-free, anywayz.

4) an exercise book that needs to be accomplished some repetitive tasks regularly. My grade is not bad so far cuz I keep going to gym frequently these days. Alright... B+, man.

5) an uncompromising film "revolver". Juz like the revolving loan, I saw the old movies again to refresh my memory, and to get additional feel n insight from the stories. Hey... you know me well.

After it all, let me sum up here. VIC = Lazy+Slow+Crazy+Repetitive+Uncompromising.

=.="
